We moved cautiously through “The Rock Pile” on October 22, reaching the Grande Dunes Marina in Myrtle Beach in time for my 68th birthday celebration. My sister and her husband who live at Grande Dunes were in N. Ft. Myers settling Dad into his winter home, so we chose the nearby Anchor Cafe for the festivities. Before we departed the next morning we saw three tugs pulling a barge which was loaded with and trailing dredging pipe. Before we got very far we caught up with “the train” and made our way
past them. What a sight!
