We have not only crossed out of Michigan and into Indiana, but we have also crossed out of the Eastern Time Zone and into the Central Time Zone. The demarcation between zones makes its way down the middle of Lake Michigan, dodging east at the Indiana State Line. Just ten miles before we tied up in Michigan City, IN , we gained an hour.
Primetime television broadcasts an hour earlier, so Wally can see a few notable shows and still be in bed by 9 pm!
